Aloft Waukee

Matthew and Amanda go above and beyond to ensure their guests are well taken care of. They both took the time to have a conversation with an old lady like myself, and we shared a few laughs. Great recommendation to a local place to eat. Our stay was memorable to say the least. The hotel is new and kept very clean. Thank you again Matthew and Amanda!

After multiple days of driving across the country with my friend and my dog, I booked a room at the Waukee Aloft . . . and was in for a real treat. This hotel was spotlessly clean and we were always met with friendly and accommodating staff members. Our room was modern, comfortable, well-stocked and perfect for our needs. As were were on a cross country trip, we unfortunately had to leave bright and early the next morning. I would have loved to stay another night and recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area. I for sure will put Waukee and the Aloft on my radar the next time I travel through.

5 stars all around. Amira at the front desk was a rock star and helped our greatly. I would recommend any travelers to this hotel.

This is a newer hotel located near Vibrant Music Hall and different restaurants. Unfortunately, there were crumbs on the floor and tape on the walls and ceiling from the previous guests. We were offered a different room but my daughter wasn't feeling well so I swept the floor myself. The decor in the room is simple which works. I will mention the overall design of the room was a bit awkward. The bathroom was the size of a small closet and had sliding doors that barely closed. There is a huge noticeable gap between the sink and the wall. This allowed water to spill over the counter next to the bed and electrical wires. My son enjoyed the pool there were pool toys provided. The outside seating area was nice. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves I just wish the room was cleaner on arrival.

Cool little place. Interesting room decor and layout with a musical theme. Very helpful staff. Some food within easy walking distance. It's next to a concert hall.

This is a nice little hotel that is walking distance to the Vibrant Music Hall. The room wasn't very roomy for two queen beds, but it was very clean & nice with a seating area and table. The only issue we had was that we had to flush the toilet multiple times 2-3) to get even just toilet paper down. However, outside of that I liked the hotel & its location. The staff is great. The room was quiet.

Aside from double booking the room we were supposed to be in, I would have given 5 stars across the board. This place is great by itself, but even better if you you're gonna see a show at Vibrant Music Hall.

We chose this hotel for two reasons. First, I stayed at an Aloft hotel in Ft Lauderdale and had a wonderful experience with their front desk, with the room, and with the way the run their hotel. Second reason, the Aloft hotel in Waukee is a parking lot away from the Vibrant Music Hall so it was extremely convenient to walk to the show we were attending. The room we stayed in was two queen beds. The set up of the room feels modern and is open concept. The beds and shower/vanity is separated by a partial partition wall. The toilet is shut off with sliding wooden doors, from the shower and vanity. The beds are extremely comfortable. There is a small rug that is under the first bed but the rest of the floor is wood style laminate. There is a little booth style seating area with a table in the corner. For those who enjoy a cocktail or two after coming back to the hotel, there is a nice bar area with several seating areas and a pool table. They also have a pool and fitness center.
